I am having a regular problem where I send a txt and it may or may not be actually sent, but my 7610 shoves it in the outbox with failed tag on it...if I try and send any more text after this I get the same thing, message sending failed, and they just clog up my outbox, the only way I have found to resolve this is to reboot the phone, but 5 to 10 texts later it can do the same again...
getting really annoying now, had this problem with a 6600 over a year since, surely there is a fix for this problem now :frown:
maybe u have the message settings wrong.. check ur message center number and check if u have selected reply via same center.. i have it as 'No' also check which message center u have selected to send texts..
Thanks for the suggestion but im afraid its not got anything to do with Settings, it must be a fault somewhere,
Seems to occur when I try and install a few apps on the phone, (been a smart phone you would expect it to be able to cope)
~The problem is very irregular, not had the problem all day today, yesterday worked fine till early evening, and then I had to reboot twice
get ur phone checked or repaired under warranty any try inserting a different sim card and see if that gives u a problem, if it does then maybe the problem can also be with the network..

Been looking for someone else with this problem for a while now.
Did anyone ever find a resolution, because my 7610 is doing exactly the same and its getting fairly annoying now! Sometime the message will send, and others it wont, but whatever happens, the message sits in the outbox saying failed - sometimes the recipient will get it 4 or 5 times, because the phone will try and resend it.
I'm on O2 in the UK if thats any help?!

I've got 7610@O2/UK for 8 months and never had problems like these... go to service and repair your phone, hope it is still under warranty...
