Sending e-mail from my 6260 (i.e. it doesn't work!)

Hey,
I've been trying to set up my 6260 to send e-mail. i have set up my O2 (contract) with a mobile internet access point (as in NOT WAP over GPRS) And i can receive e-mail without issue, however i am unable to send it!
my mail provider is ntlworld.com (part of their e-mail package) and my SMTP login details are the same as the POP login details (plus there is nowhere to put separate SMTP is there?)

anyone got their ntlworld mail working with o2? or can suggest what is up with it?

Use O2's SMTP server for outgoing mail, not ntworkd.com's. Ask O2's customer care, or search their web site for the correct SMTP server name or IP address to use in the mailbox settings.
