I noticed that some people can take fotos and save them as files over 2m in size which is something I cannot do. Max size is 600k. I just thought that this may be yet another Voda restriction, (to go along with their crap memory card) Makes sense!! Can anyone who's got a voda fone save files bigger than this??? On a happy note, I went to a Nokia service centre in Madrid and they said that they will flash the phone for 36. Generic I may add.. They also said it would be better waiting cos the latest release is 3.5xxx and there's bugger all changes. Not sure whether to wait or not!! Decisions.
Max foto file size 600k.. Voda limitation??
forgot to mention that the phone has to be unlocked before they'll flash it.
Hi,
I am desperately looking for a place in Madrid where they can unlock my 6630. Could you please send me the details ([email protected]) of you Nokia center?
Thx very much.
They won't unlock it for you. You'll have to go to whoever you bought it off. Like Vodafone if thats who you got it off.. The codes that they are giving out to remotely unlock don't seem to work, you'll have to let go of your phone for a few days and send it into their main admin office n let them use their cursed master code that they have. Pain in the right royal sagging behind.
After that the happy folks at nokia centres are all too kappy to help. Just look on the nokia site. There's 'un monton' here in Madrid.
It isn't a vodafone restriction. I have the Vodafone 6630 and I can make pictures with a filesize well above 600kb (813kb is so far the largest i could make). Adjust your camera settings, I have max resolution and maximum quality. If you have this settings try to make pictures of different kind of objects. The size of your photofile depends on the colors, zoomlevel, grade of light etc etc.
So we can have our phones flashed to a nokia factory standard and bypass
