I have currently upgraded my phone to the 7610! Im on the o2 network..
My girlfriend keeps sending me messages most of which come through but some just dont come through. seen her send one and a day later i still do not have the message.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this or do i need to open a can of woop ass on o2 😡 :argh:

check ur message settings, maybe ur network is just too busy.. yes indeed go tell them the problem

What in the message settings could stop me recieving some but not all sms messages????
if u cant receive a particular persons messages then he/she could have set 'reply via same center on' u need to check the message center number.. and see if u have selected the right center anyway..
Yes, I have also faced this problem but only once and it has not repeated itself since a few weeks. To see whether you are actually receiving the sms, check your log. If the incoming sms is there and not in inbox, then the problem is same as I had.
If it is not there in log, then probably your girlfriend is using some wrong settings when sending the sms or it is lost in network congestion.
