Nokia SU-8W Wireless Keyboard (English) Can anyone tell me its support Nokia 7710 and does it worth to buy this.

@Vicky

Think Outside, the other Bt keyboard company, has no plans for a Series 90 driver. You would have thought Nokia would write drivers for their Smartphones! Best to wait a month or two and see what happens. For the UK, I don't think the BT keyboard has been launched yet. I can see why you asked - I plan to get a BT keyboard as well. The large screen of the 7710 makes it a really good laptop replacement. I have a BT keyboard for my SE P910 and it can be very useful if you have a page or two of notes to type.

Both the European 7710s and SU-8W keyboards are now shipping - I picked up one of each. Unfortunately, the 32MB RS-MMC that comes with the keyboard contains drivers for Series 60 only - the 7710 is not supported in any way.

I've tried launching the driver installer on the 7710 and it will not. I've also tried using a Series 60 phone to install the drivers on the 7710's MMC, but after installing the drivers (an application which runs as a background process, actually) won't launch on the 7710. Completely out of luck with this one.

It's a bit frustrating, because the keyboard would make the 7710 so much more functional! It sure looks great sitting in front of the 7710 as it's perched on its deskstand... but that's it. :frown:

The keyboard driver/application for the 7710 is coming soon - which is great news - just be patient.
