however the time has come to change a phone. based on the fact that i am only 14 but have a mean craving for multimedia, music and megapixel cameras, please be kind enough to point me to either one of the above listed phones.
i really want both of these but if i go with the 3230 i would have to wait another few weeks. is it really worth the wait? please suggest either of these for me and state a reason for it.

The fact is 6630 is a 3G phone, this means that it is capable to achieve higher than usual data speeds ( intended for applications other than voice such as full-motion video, video-conferencing and full Internet access) which is still not supported by many networks. Considering the price issue, 3230 is supposed to be available at a suitable price. So what I suggest is that you go for 3230 and it's definitely worth the wait.
I do have the same ques which is good to buy and worth of money.
If i don't need 3G.
and does N3230 support DV RS MMC or Normal.
Some says it has mono output and some says stero any one confirm this.
I suppose 3230 supports stereo radio, NOT stereo music playback! Just like 6260...
After reading a lot on 3230, i found 6630 is best in overall all features which I own... 6630 is much faster, has 10 MB builtin RAM, 64 MB comes free, and lots of many other features, where 3230 definitely lacks.. If price is no issue for you, go for 6630..waiting for 3230 is useless.. and if you're radio lover, u can always use Nokia Radio Handfree, which is very well supported by 6630..

What do you know about the 6630 being much faster than the 3230? The CPU speed of the 3230 is not yet known.
And who want to be dragging around with an extra unit for the radio?? Not me!!
The point must be the incorporate as much features as possible into the unit itself, radio, mp3 etc..
Personally I think the 6630 is an UGLY phone, and I don't see the point in cashing out the extra cash for a 3G phone which actually is useless as a video-conferencing phone due to lack of video camera on the front side of the phone. The 3230 has EDGE GPRS which is nearly as fast as 3G.
What is still a little uncertain is wheter the 3230 will have stereo playback of mp3.
Nokia has confirmed to me in an e-mail that it will have stereo mp3, but you never know with nokia.

EDGE speed for 3230 is class 5 only. you can't achieve full speed of class 10.
overall, 6630 is much better phone than 3230, furthermore the price for 6630 is coming down rapidly (at least in my country). current price for 6630 is slightly higher than 7610. mp3 playback in 3230 would be crappy since it is in mono.
Yep, going by everything I've seen online the 3230 will be a bog-standard 125MHz Symbian 7 device with mono mp3, basically like the 7610/6670 but with cut-down EDGE.
And it's not surprising since it's a mid-range "youth" 3-series phone meant for the mass market.
The way things are going the 6630 will most probably be cheaper than the 3230 upon release.

None. IMO,the best choice is to wait for 6681 which is to be sold some time in April.
It does not have that ugly round shape on the bottom and is overall a better and newer phone.
It only lacks the FM radio unfortunately

I reali thing that you should get N6630 if you hevan`t get it already ! Nokia 3230 will have123 MHz 32-bit RISC CPU (ARM-9 Serie) . I'v read a lot and 6630 is the best Nokia after N90 so I sudjest you buy it . The phone have beter batery than 3230 and the memory is 10Mb . Also athe camera is beter than the one in 3230 . In my opinion it is also cooler than 3230 !
I also intend to buy it but I'll have to wait a litle longer !

n6630 is the best i have it
it's soooooooooooo speedy
but only have one thing bad
the bluetooth is alittle slow than 3230
but 6630 in every thing else it's better than 3230
