Sendo , give me more Ram ....please !!!

Is there any work in progress on a Release which includes a Game Profile, in order to make the self phone restarted loading just the basis settings, leaving the whole memory free for games?
In this way we can change our Sendo x in a simple self phone without Now and Vocal Controls making free as much Ram as possible.
I also would like to know if is it possible to hardly reduce the available memory on the C disk and making it available on E , preferably allowing to use the Sd card.

P.S. I hope you can understand my English ......... 😊

Thank you very much.

Stefano.

Did you try the "Flight Mode" of Psiloc System Tools? Make a backup before installing, because Psiloc applications often don`t "like" the Sendo X.

I'll try it ,thank you 😊

Thank you for attention.

psiloc' flight mode, get about 5 mb Ram. flight mode off, to give the same value 5 mb ram.

Not to be one good solution

The 6630 catch up the 9 mb of ram free for the applications. Sendo could create in firmware a profile that free a lot ram..What of thoughts?

Plinkey? :con?

Hi 😉

Hi Guys,

The question I have (which I asked ages ago, and never got any answers), was "What do you need all the extra RAM for?"

Most Java games are 100-200K max, better SIS games are 300-500K.
Even DOOM, which is big, only uses about 2MB of RAM.
Newer applications, such as S60 QuickOffice, use about the same.

So, what do you need it for? What game / app don't I have that uses this much - please tell me, it must be a good one!

The only reason I can think of, is to play games from a certain landscape format gaming phone, but that of couse is illegal, and I am SURE you wouldn't be trying to that, would you?!

The reason's i would like to see more RAM available is purely because a) Its possible, b) It would hopefully make applications such as SmartMovie (and most likely mobiclip when its available) run far smoother and c) It would just make the phone that much more efficient

Hello Plinkykev 😊

Many applications (route66 as an example) occupy nearly all
the ram, slowing down the cellular one.

also the player for the divx they would go better with more ram

Some games sys, occupy a lot more of 500 K (stuntcarextreme s60)

The demand is born from the fact that, in some situation, it would
make comfortable to have little active applications but more ram
disposition.

it could be made?

Hi 😃
