i want to check my mail VIA bluetooth+ LANwith Internet, could i?
could i use IM+ via bluetooth or IR conected to my office LAN with internet?

waiting for your answer.
Tema.

Hmm...So what your saying is that you want to connect to the net using a proxy server from your phone using bluetooth.

I can't see that being possible, it's a bit of a strange request. Why do you want to do this when you will have a PC with net access within 10 meters of you??

What your trying to do is a bit like warchalking (But on a much smaller scale)

The obvious answer is 'so I can read BBC News while sitting in bed, in the back garden, visiting the loo...' If you have an intranet at work, you wouldn;t be tied to your desk (assumign it's a small office, which mine is!)

I have this (under IrDA) on the 9210 thanks to PsiLoc's Extende Interne, and damm useful it is too. I think a similar app is a good idea for the 7650 Series 60 range.

Yes - If you have mRouter running on your PC, and it is connected to your phone via bluetooth (or IrDa), and your PC has an internet connection. When you start IM+ on you're handset and tell it to connect to ICQ or AOL it will try the bluetooth (or IrDa) connection before it asks you to choose an access point. Fan-bloody-tastic. (And a BIG drain on you're battery)

It'd be great to use the bluetooth connection for browsing, or for email, or IRC, or nntp, or TN5250... My PC is upstairs in a cupboard, in a bedroom, and its not always convienient to leave the kids, or the missus and sit in front of that for half an hour at a time.

A.

I stand corrected, I guess what's right for one person might seem pointless to another.

I find browsing the net on the 7650 very annoying due to the small screen size, i've never done it on a 9210 but I assume it would be a lot more like a PC.
