X700 experience feedback

Hi all,
I'm in the market for a new handset and the X700 has caught my eye. I've read information about the PROS and CONS of the handset from many sources, but would like feedback from current x700 owners about the multimedia aspect of the x700.

1) How is the sound quality of converted .3gp film clips with the mono speaker of X700?

2) Can you comment on the highest video framerate, bit-rate and audio bit-rate that the X700 can support at its playback resolution (176x144) in .3gp?

3) Does the OGG audio format sound anywhere close to stereo on the X700, despite the lack of stereo support on the device?

Thanks for your comments!

The mono speaker is actually quite clear, but not overly loud.

Not sure on this one, I have really only played back 3gp's that were created on the phone, except one, but I do not have the details you are asking for. Playback of the preinstalled Panasonic 3gp video were approx 15-20fps.

Using Oggplay 1.6.4 (MMF Version) I have 45Kbps CBR ogg files playing through the builtin speaker sounding fine to me. Via the headset they are clearer but would be better at a higher bitrate (mine are being used as ringtones only).

Hope this helps,
Shane.
