I have message error when I try to open my emails : Error msg KERN-EXEC Reason number 3.
I found an answer from Sony on the P800/P900 series knowledge base (text copy) :
"A part of the incoming email message is in HTML. The P900 email client does not support HTML."
How can I read an Email ? I think arround 95% contain HTML informations !?
The P900 can't do html, but the app shouldn't crash. I always had to scroll through a lot of "random" characters but could read the mail. You'd just miss all the pics and layout.
Have you upgraded to the latest firmware?
There is now an e-mail app for the P900 that does html e-mail. Can't remember the name of it, but a quick search on here should find it.
In fact, it does ! I'm agree with you, the app shouldn't crash and go to an inferior quality mode missing pics and layouts ... OK, but not crash.
I've done the update twice ...
Any more ideas ? Thank for your help.
Good soft but cannot import mails on P900, just a view, requiring a web connexion without possibility working standalone. The Sony's soft is better than this but have the no-understandable HTML limitation !! It's the same with P910.
Pearhaps I haven'nt found the good one yet ... I continue my quest !
If you can remenber the name of the soft you will be helpful, thank.

The P910 does read HTML mail now. I can't believe SE won't release an update for the P900 though.
I have had that error on my P800. It happens when an email combines html and non-html.
You have 2 options, either use OneMail.ToGo, which strips out all html, so your messaging app will never crash again (it works very well, tho it's $50 subscription for a year), or profimail, which is a full-featured standalone email application, inc. html support. That costs about $25 tho it's slightly buggy IMHO, and has an unusual user interface
