does it need an update?

is there a way to update the software my self or i have to send it to nokia service?

there is no way u can do it urself... the flash files needed to upgrade the firmware are property of nokia and acquiring them is illegal unless ur an authorized Nokia Service Center. visit the center and find out if u have the latest firmware.

if i updated my software version, and i formatted my phone, will it go back to the old version or stay with the updated version?
