Dear Mr Faitas,
Thank you for your inquiry. With the current English drivers the BlueFRITZ! USB only supports the CIP profile. For communication with mobile phones, however, the DUN profile is usually the right choice. AVM is currently implementing the latter profile in the BlueFRITZ! USB driver and a German beta driver driver for Windows 2000/XP was released a short while ago. You can download the mentioned driver from ftp://ftp.avm.de/cardware/x_misc/bfusb_beta/windows.2k/deutsch/. Please note that we cannot provide any technical support for beta drivers.
Yours sincerely,
i got the devices connected and paired. now i can not send anything from the phone to the computer or from the computer to the phone alltough they are connected and identify each other properly. help!!
Suppose you want to send a file! Right click on it and select Send to ---> Bluetooth ----> Find devices
This will search for a device to use! Select your Nokia 7650 and press ok!
Which software is the FRITZBlue using for BT?
thats the point there is no bluetooth send option available on the pc even though the phone is paired with the computer. and also i can not send anything from the phone to the pc although the bluefritz programe which controls the connections verifies the connection, identifies the nokia 7650 phone, shows full signal strengh etc etc.
so i have a full conection but apart from that nothing!!! maybe the bluefritz software is just for the isdn modem and alltough it does find the phone it can not be used by other xp programs??
do the other bluetooth modules show up as irda moudules on the computer? with the mrouter showing them?
anyway i have emailed avm again asking the same questions.
