MultiMedia Converter problem.

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone else has had the following problem.

I have installed the multimedia converter 1.1 at home under windows 98. Evertime I try and open any supported file type I instantly get an "Internal Error" message. Hence I can't convert anything. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but all with the same result. I've also tried the latest download from the Nokia site. However I've tried the same software at work and it works O.K. (Windows 95).

Its probably something nasy to do with my registry or a software conflict somewhere. However I thought I'd ask and see if anyone else has had the same problem and if so did they find a solution?

Thanks
Andy

You probably won't like this, but it does sound like it's a format and reinstall windoze jobby to make that work, otherwise you could spend years hunting for anything conflicting with it. Or failing that make a dual boot with W95 on the other partition (or use Bochs to boot a W95 session in W98 without the hastle of dual boot, http//bochs.sourceforge.net/ if you are interested)

Oh well that will give me something to do over Christmas. In the interim I can always use my 9210 to copy the complete wave file from home and just do a quck conversion in the office.
