256mb rsmmc
I think u can use the Content Copier from PC Suite to backup that. But the problem is it also backup everything in the phone memory also.
Best is to get a card reader, save all the apps then format ur mmc.
What brand of mmc u get? I am trying to find out which brand is the most compatible.
I am using NCP 256M so far no problem for 6670. Want to get a 512M also?
I have 256mb Microsim rsmmc. I think that the bigger the size, the slower the phone will be. Will just be like an overload. I have a card reader and i did copy its contents in a folder on my pc. But I am not sure if that's right b/c I dont see the apps there...
There should be system folder there if u use a card reader. Unless the card is empty will no apps.
If u use PC Suite, u will not see the system folder.
i see the system folder on the 256mb rsmmc, but not on the 64mb rsmmc that came with the phone. why's that? it is not hidden, tho, i've checked.
what other programs do u guys use other than PC suite? i have mobiledit and oxygen phone manager; however, they dont detect my phone. eventhough i have set it for bluetooth. any ideas?
ive just copied my original 64MB card content into my pc. then i changed the card in my phone to 256MB. then i copy back the old 64MB card content into the new 256MB in the phone. the problem is, the applications dah installed into the 64MB card not appeare in the new 256Mb. any help?
Make sure that u copy the system folder also.
It seems that the original mmc hide it system folder.
U must select to view all folders(including hidden folders) on ur pc.
I have found out already. The Nokia MMC Card has set its system folder to hidden.
U can use file manager software(like Fileman) to unhidden the system folder.
Then u will be able to see the system folder.
