Data cable can't connect to pc

my n-gage's data cable can't connect to pc (w98-wxp) and the earphone's logo is always show.

Dear Friend,

I Have A Crude Solution For Ur Problem. I Had The Same Problem And I Just Solved By Doing The Folowing Procedure.

The Procedure Is Very Simple. U Just Have To Push Ur Earphone Pin With Force In The Its Slot. And Then Pull Back. Tried One Or Twice. Hopfully It Will Solve Ur Problem.
