Hi folks,
Just a newb Nokia user trying to find out WHY my DAMN HBH 35 BT headset cannot maintain a BT connection with my 6630.
I successfully paired the HBH 35 with the 6630, and initially within the first few seconds, you can see a communication between the 6630 and the HBH 35, however, the 6630 posts a message, LOST connection. I am unable to make a phone call via the HBH 35 headset as it appears there's no BT connection to the Nokia 6630. The headset worked flawlessly with my SE Z600, however, not with the 6630.
Is there anyone else out there experiencing the same fault as me? My Nokia 6630 firmware version is v.3.45.111.
What BT headset is recommended and 100% compatible with the Nokia 6630?
You symbian folk out there, your posts and advice will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
E :con?
hi... i knew about shit problem, because the some happened to me 😃 there can be a problem in profiles supported by the HBH-35,because its an older type and it does not support all the phones,as you can see on the box, where is a compatibility list with som SE models...
ive bought an Akono HBH-300 later and its working perfect with my 6630 and on the box is written:FOR USE WITH BLUETOOTH EQUIPPED PHONES... and its sipporting all profiles /handsfree,headset/ and will work with 6630,or any other device
Hey Fidelko,
Thanks for the reply.
I kinda gathered after numerous attempts to pair, that it was probably a compatibility issue with my Bt headset.
I'm now using this cheap Motorola BT headset and it seems to work, but now, it appears that the Moto headset does not support voice dialling from the headset. Arghhh...... i'm starting to regret purchasing a Nokia after using SE Z600. Their BT implementation is near perfect!

if we are talking abiut bluetooth technology and especially abiut compatibility, the most important thing is the supporting of profiles... HBH-35 is an older one and its not working fine /o got it in a mistake, because i ordere HBH-300,byt they delivered my the HBH-35/ and i tried it,but the effect was the same... pairing and after some seconds it disconnects ... but when i get my HBH-35 it was something different... pairing was successfull and ist working fine with my 6630,the quality and loudness of speech is very good, and i can use it in 10 meter distance through one wall and still good soudn quality 😃 and the battery life is impressive... i have to charge both my phone and headset once a week in the same time, because the standby time is exactly,or aproximately the same 😃
