How to Begin Symbian S60 ? few questions...

Hi Guys...I am a newbie in this field...and facing some problems with SYmbian...I have installed S60 SDK from Nokia's website + I also have installed active Perl + Visual Studio.Net 2003...
Now when I follows the HelloWOrld example given the help file..than I am not able to compile it...as it is giving errors...I am exactly following the details given...what can be the prolem ???

and what is the difference betweeen S60/S80/S90 Phones ?

and when I am trying to compile the helloworld in VB6 it is giving the following error "elloworldbasic.pdb', has an obsolete format, delete it and recompile"...What this means ?
