Does Nokia 6630 support voice dialling from the BT headset????

Hi folks,

Just wondering whether the Nokia 6630 supports voice dialling from the BT headset, or is it dependant on voice dialling through the handset?

I've just paired a Moto BT headset and it successfully paired with the Nokia 6630

* Press the voice dial button on the Moto Headset - N6630 initiates 'speak now'
* Speak into the Moto headset - 'no response'

Arghhh..... i'm starting to get a bitter taste for Nokia. I've been using my SE Z600 and its BT implementation was near flawless.

Cheers

Nokia 6630 is supporting voice dialling, but this function may not work in headsets from another than Nokia... its goot to ask before you buy.... i bought an Akono HBH-300 headset and someone told me that maybe some functions like redial and voice diallin will not work with an Nokia device 😃

You have created voice tags against the contact numbers you want to call, right?

Tim

I use voice dial on my jabra headset - works fine.
as does last number re-dial.

The jabra has 2 different pairing operations depending on weather your phone has headset or handsfree BT profiles.

Perhaps your headset is simular and is paired incorrectly?? Just a guess.
