Hello,
My 7610 had been stolen.
Forunatlly, I have *.nfb file saved last week using Nokia PC Suite.
Now, I get N6670 and I want to transfer contacts and SMS to it.
By using Nokia PC Suite, it says that the file is for a diffrent device.
How could I do this please.
NB: I have not N7610, then I can't apply Outlook Sync
Thanks
While it may say it is for a different device, it is only a warning. It is possible that some data may not be restored correctly. But I suggest just go ahead and try. Anyway 6670 is new, so you can reset and start again if it does not work.
Please,
I have some data (contacts and SMS) in N6670
Will they bt deleted when I restore *.nfb of N7610?
I hope YES 😃

Hi Sandeep
I have tried to apply what you described.
But, it seems that it's not an only warning. The "Continue" button is disbled to continue.
Then, what will be the solution, please?
Thank you
Hmmm... Maybe this is being done so that copyrighted content will not be transferred to another phone with different sr. no. DRM is such a royal pain...and in any case does not achieve anything except hassles for the average user. Anyway that is another issue altogether.
I had no problems restoring contacts from my 6610 to 7610. It did give a warning about all data would not be transferred, but mostly I got name and tel. no. back. SMS refused to be restored. What I suggest is that when you select restore, it also gives you options to select what you want restored. Try selecting contacts, sms, etc. one by one to see what area is causing the problem. Another option may also be that your new 6670 mmc may also be having it's own apps, etc. and therefore from the .nfb file, there is not enough space to restore the old mmc card, so pc suite stops the restore. You should put a new rs-mmc card and then try to restore.
Hi Guys,
Any one of you used (Data transer ) Option in 6670 ? That is a very powerful
feature to transfer all contacts, calendar, images, video clips & sound clips from any Nokia mobile ( supports Bluetooth). You dont need to go for third party apps. Its only few steps and let both mobile flitter each others and get all the clone to your new mobile device.
