Backup SMS Msg for Nokia 7650

To all 7650 comrades,

I guess some of you guys are :roll: for an solution to backup all your SMS msg. I have been :roll: around for an appl for this solution and thanks to 😃 Lord J2theIZZO 😃 who have help me on this.

Here is the solution we can find so far....

Setup the path from your local harddrive example: C:\Nokia\My phone\backup\Internal\Nokia\System\Mail

Then click on the button Import. After that click on Export. You may wish to select any format you wish to have CVS, Rich Text Format, etc.

erm I have followed the instructions and found the right mail folder on my system.... but cannot see any import or export buttons? please help?

Click on SMS at the bottom of the "communicator" then go to the Grey buttons on the right hand side of the "screen" an Import/sort/export/contact will appear next to the buttons.

I have used this nice programme is it certainly very helpful.

But i find that (unless i've missed something), to access the sms thru sms journal, u have to back up the phone. Is there anyther way to get the sms messages on to the pc without having to backup all of the phone data? :roll: That is something like ... Can we send just the sms's to pc as and when we get them, at the end of the day?

I tried a workaround, but
I dont seem to be able to copy the messages to anyother folder apart from "myfolders" in "Messaging" which is not of much help. :-?

I also dont seem to be able to copy the inbox to any other folder even using the SeleQ :-?

Any suggestions?
