Sending SMS through my PC

Can anyone tell me if there is an application which allows me to use my computer to send SMS. I have the DKU-2 cable and Nokia PC suite 6.41.6, but 'Text Message Editor' does not support Symbian OS. Is there something else I can use?

I have just downloaded this app and cannot get it to work with my 6260... 😞

I get an error that says 'The selected device is not supported by this application'. Isn;t this where we started from with Nokia PC Suite and Symbian O/S phones...?!

Any knowledge on what to do to make this work out there?

Your phone has first to be visible to Windows as a modem (infrared, Bluetooth or via the DKU-2 USB cable through the support/drivers in PC Suite). Once Windows sees the phone as a modem, then choose that modem in this app.

Hello,

I'm useing microsoft SMS Sender via bluetooth and it works Just fine with my 6260. If you have troubles try modem driver from nokia's 6260 Home page...

I'm also useing Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian phones, I think this is the best software you can get, but it is not free.: :frown: Also trial version supports sms sending, the only "limit" is that the trial version of program attaches a short URL in the begining of every SMS...
