As my post over at my-symbian seems to indicate that there's no way for us brits to get our 9500's upgraded to 4.51, it's time for a nasty letter. Anyone know the name of Nokia UK's CEO/MD/chairman/whatever?

Makes no odds to be honest, there's no real improvement with 4.51 anyway. That said isn't 4.51 the asian version, and 4.50 the european?
No, V4.51 is for Europe as well! Besides, compatibility with Office is a REAL improvement too me...

4.51 may not be much an improvement over 4.50. But my phone's stuck on 4.44 which can't save documents openable by MS Office running on MS's current OS.
You guys know there are alternatives to Microsoft Office, right? Like the free OpenOffice f. ex.
Yes I do know that (I read Steve's tips as well 😉 ) But that's no good if you want to mail a Document to some-one other than yourself. They will be unable to open it.

Btw., I didn't read Steve's tips. Compatibility with OO was known from the start, that's how people started figuring out that the compatibility issue was related to MS Office and SP2.

There must be someway of getting Nokia UK to listen/respond. I tried emailing them asking where and when we could get the firmware updated .. still nothing in my inbox 😡

Its an arse because I'm more that happy (in fact Very happy 😃 ) with everything else about the 9500 .. just wish I could tx Office files !
