Personalized ringing tones in 9300

Personalized ringing tones defined via:

Contacts - opensomeContact - Menu - Card - Ringing tone - Personal ringing tone - choose some message you've recordedwith your 9300 - call to that contact number. Did it work?

I have TWO 9300:s and the first did not want to use the personalized ringing tone AT ALL, the other worked only ONCE, the first time, after that no success any more.

Do you have any better luck in personalizing your 9300's (or 9500's, I suppose) ringing tones ?

Did you meant call to or call from that contact? Of course you dont get any tone when you make the call. And I think you meant "choose some song or tone" not "message"?

I've assigned mp3 from MMC to my girl friend's number and it works nicely. Even if I take the MMCcard out and get a call from her (at this time the normal one rings) and put the card back then the mp3 is again working...

p.s. mulla on siis mys 9300, mutta samoin pitisi 9500:n toimia myskin...

I mean ringing tone in the receiving unit. But neither .amr nor .wav files function any more as personalized ringing tones, regardless of their placement either in main memory or in MMC. The mystery remains why the .amr file _did_ work, but only _once_ and only in one unit of two 9300s!!??

You lucky one... any unlucky ones on the planet besides me?
