Hi there fellas,
Me gonna buy 7710 in a day or two.. so please clear some of my doubts..

1- What is the maximum capacity of MMC this fone supports?
2- Any software related probs? like hang-ups etc. ?? Is it stable or not?
3- Are there yet new softwares, games etc available for series 90s ??
4- How about themes? are they available or not.. i mean other than the ones bundled with it...
5- I heard some rumours about the bluetooth acting up in 7710s ?? any info on that?
6- 1 more thing.. about this visual radio thingie.. it depends on the content providers or something? actually i dunno what the hell it is... :con?

I am a lil' scared.. its a big investment u kno!! 😃

@Harsh

may better if you post your question on the 7710 forum

1. Users have tested 1GB MMC and all is okay
2. Contact Template does not work, alarm if the phone is switched off does not work properly (white screen after alarm activation), BT is not that stable - but then again it is no worst than any phone I have used (SE Pxxx range, Nokia 9500)
3. S/w catalogue at www.my-symbian.com Smartmoive is very impressive
4. No info on Themes, sorry
5. see #2
6. You can listen to normal FM radio stations with the provided handfree/stereo headset

Have a look at this for more infor: http://my-symbian.com/s90/7710_review.php

#4: There is a 7710 Theme Studio available if you're working for a company that has Forum
Nokia PRO access: http://pro.forum.nokia.com/

#6: Visual Radio can make the listening to an FM radio channel more interactive through the radio app and use of packet data (info about what's playing, what's coming, backgrund data, interactive games, etc.) More about what Visual Radio really is can be found here: http://www.visualradio.com/

Visual radio is a great concept, not many phones support it, it sounds like the radio version of cable TV where you can select the red and green buttons to make it interactive! How do you find it? Do you use it? Is the cost bundled into your contract?

So far, the 7710 is the first and only phone with Visual Radio, but I'm sure there'll be more.

The radio station also needs to support Visual Radio.

What's needed is also a GPRS Internet connection and what it costs depends on the amount of data transferred (the FM radio receiver is handling the radio part, so it won't be shown in your phone bill) and how the operator charges for it (what your contract says about data transfer costs).

The stuff they come up with is amzing..what can't phones do these days! So do own a 7710? How do you find it? It looks great and I like the widescreen.
