I am on my 4th nokia 6630 in 3 weeks its gone wrong again same problems 😮 . rebooting line 2 problems orange are aware of these problems. I have refreshed the phone and its working for now, probley for the next couple of days anyway, I have only had this phone 3 days my problem is should I take this phone back well knowing that I wont get another one. as everywhere is out of stock, and downgrade to my trusty 6600 , or will these so called "updates" to the phone sort it out. and how long will we have to wait for them. What do you guys think stick with the phone or take it back and wait for a new stock to come in however long it takes. have orange recalled the phone no one seems to know

not 3g and I like nokia , even my local nokia centre does not have the software updates for this phone

Haven't had any mayjor problems on my 6630. Just the usual vodafone restrictions, but we have work arounds for them. Its the best phone I've ever had. But then I would only ever buy nokia anyway.

mjdj1689 sorry to hr about all yr problems, :frown: i have a vodafone & a sim free generic 6630 & not had any probems with either, 😃 it seems that most people with a 6630 on Orange are having lots of problems so maybe its their fault & not the user/phone? are you using it on their 3G service? if so have you got SPMark04 and tried swapping it to standard 2G service as this has solved peoples problems in the past maybe this will work for you?
Keep checking with yr local nokia centre re firmware upgrades 😃
IMO you should stick with the phone it is the best phone i have had and once you can use it properly you wont be disappointed 😃
Thanx guys for your help yes it seems thats its only on orange that these problems seem to occur it truely is a excellent phone , at least with vodaphone you get the stand to make 3 g calls we orange people just get a 64 meg memory card.
Spoke to orange again and they say hang onto the phone till wed and the new software for the phone should be out then.
