Since this is a series 60 phone, almost all programs available for this type can be used and installed. however, camera related softwares are not that reliable on this phone.

Ex:

PhotoBase software's other features can be perfectly used but not the camera function, same as PhotoRite SP. Though in photorite sp you can use the camera but you need to exit the built in camera of 6260.

eXPlode arena
smart movie
CameraFx- can work but need to exit the builtin camera software when in play mode

I think there is no dedicated camera software yet for 6260. If you know something, please feel the freedom of posting it here. 😃

theres hundreds of programs available, depends what you want to do?
you can control a TV, you can contol winamp on ur pc, you can play a hell of a lot of games, you can have loads on camera type programs, goes on forever

i wanted to see what kind of apps are available. i have plenty of games, especially witht eh gameboy emulator. i had a number of camera apps but dont need that anoymore since the 6260 isn't limited on video recording. anyone with links to lists of apps would be helpful. thnx

There's a lot of camera apps for 6260. Here are the ones that I've tried and works perfectly....

Camera Magica
PhotoAcute
CameraX Pro
PhotoRite SP (if you want to do effects)

and for Video ... a good one is Camcorder Pro, can record in QCIF (176x144) you can also change the frame rate up to 15fps.

unfortunatelly i can not make the photoacute work for my 6260. Tried all of them even the v2 but nothing do you know why?
