i jus recently bought the 6630 and its an xcellent piece of kit, but im haveing problems connecting it to my pc via my bluetooth usb adapter.
i was originally using a w links adapter with my previous fone which was the nokia 3650 with the widcomm driver 1.2 ver. Now since getting the nokia 6630 it says that nokia pc suite ver 6.6 only accepts widcomm bluetooth stack ver 1.4.
i tried connecting the 6630 under the ver 1.2 and the fone wouldnt connect to the pc as pc suite kept saying it couldnt authenticate the phone!
ive looked on the net for the 1.4 ver drivers i found them and downloaded it but now the widcomm software doesnt even recognise the adapter it gives a msg saying"bluetooth device not found" and the bluetooth sign has a red symbol "B" instead of a white one.
I also went to device manager and windows cant find any drivers to install for the adapter even the ones which should be the normal plug n play drivers in windows xp service pack 2,ive tried pointing the wizard to the location where i downloaded the widcomm driver ver 1.4 but it says it cant find any, am i doing sumthing wrong please help! :con?
