Question .. can you reboot the 9500 without using any software (ie the phone has dead-locked (crashed) without removing the battery ??
Reason I ask is whenever I remove the battery and then replace the battery meter gets all confused, showing a couple of bars less then when I took it out. Because of this my phone has been runnig for the past 6 hours with no battery, according to the meter anyway ! :con?
If ctrl-shift-chr-k doesn't work then your only option is the battery.

ctrl+shift+chr+k is not a reccomended way of reebooting the device as it just "kills" things rather than closes and reboots!...not a very safe way of doing it.

This is kind of a software problem. Even if you dont remove the battery, it will still be showing the wrong bars. To solve the problem, you need to use your phone untill u have about 1 bar left, then remove the battery and put it back in, and then charge the battery untill its full. Use the phone again untill battery is nearly empty and repeat the same procedure. It will improve your battery. I discovered that people who are having these problems are those people who charged their 9500 when it came out of the box. You are supposed to use it first untill nearly empty and then charge it.
OK .. I'll give that little charging routine a go ! Altho mine was dead when it arrived .. and I charged it over night ..
Still cant hurt to do it again 😊
