Contacts

1. if you have saved a contact with it's picture on it.. when he calls you he's picture doesn't appear.. both phone side and communicator side (am not sure if the on the phone side it is possible to do that but am pretty sure on the communicator side it shoould do that)

Web

1. When viewing a website the error appears something like kernel thing..

2. when i choose fit to screen, and open a new window going to another address the fit to screen doesnt apply.. i have to press ctrl+m again..

well these are the problems i've encountered.. i got version 4.44 i dunno if this problems would be solved when i upgrade it to ver 4.51

anyone got any answers to these??? please do so.... and anyone who has problems that was not mentioned feel free to post... lets help each other to solve this things.. 😉

hmm.... no one noticed??? lol.. anyway heres another thing.. on the phone side, when you write a message and you send it n9500 takes you to the main screen.. no chance to clear the message you sent.. when you open the write message on the phone side.. there it is.. the message you've written.. lol... hmmm what if someone borrow my phone.. he can see what ive texted (maybe sum impt thing)when he'll type a new message he'll be able to see what ive written..

another thing.. when you call someone.. the last name appears first.. not a problem but hmm... i paid for this big tym and i just hope it'll be pleasing..

Yeah I noticed the message problem. After writing a text message, I have to go and clear it. Sometimes I forget and when writing a new message, the message will be there.

About the last name thing, the only way is to type in the Surname as first name and First name as Surname. There is a program that can do this for you if you have many contacts but I think it will be fixed in v4.51

Too bad v4.51 is not available to UK users. Its language/ operator specific. :frown:

That's not a problem. That's a Series 40 "feature". My 7210 had it as well. But I have to agree, it's quite annoying

ok another one.. when a contact has two phone numbers in ur contact list.. when he send u a message.. his name wont appear instead the beginning of the text message appears on the inbox.. i cant believe theres so many flaws here.. doesnt nokia have quality control team for this product.. this is a communicator for cryin out loud men.. i mean nothing perfect but at least be somewhat...

Where did you find this out ?

I rang Communicaid. The guy on the phone was very reluctant to talk to me at all and he maintained v4.44 was the latest firmware for the UK and that any other versions were irrelevant since they would be Country/Service Provider/language specific. He also claimed (on the basis of having a 9500 himself) and he had v4.44 on it.

i also found out that the FW is diffrent for diffrent country as in singapore we only have 5.44 or 4.44

i asked the Care centre guy and he told me that its language spacific...
