:icon14: true, true would be better if it had 512 or 1G MMCs...... so you can rock on your 6630 all you want......... 😎

Err... :con?

Each to their own I suppose...

Sound quality and loudspeaker/headset volume have been commented on, but not main volume. I know 3650 has very low volume for rings and for listening to people on the phone. Does 6630 have much better volume for this? Maybe, comparable to the LOUD, BOOMING volume of the N-Gage? Yes? No?

the n-gage was amazing as an mp3 player, perhaps the fact that it had more options such as bass is the reason why it sounds that little better? Also when your listening to music via the music player and someone rings it cuts off but then when the call has ended the player doesnt resume 😞 also the button on the headset doesnt allow changing of tracks or stopping of music which my old 6230 did. Maybe some 3rd party software can allow these controls?

well i am certainly looking forward to that 😉

ok i belive u guys dont know what stereo is, its not just based on quality you will need to have 2 speakers for stereo you canot have it with 1 speaker then its just automaticly mono, but theres 2 speaker monos aswell but at the moment phones with 1 speaker is 100% mono 😃 6680 has 2 speakers and runs at a higher hz making it stereo 😃

we know what stereo means...when we said stereo output, we refer to headset..not from the phone speaker!! 🙄
where do u get the idea that 6680 has 2 speakers?? it looks exactly the same as 6630 at the top.

As Fidelko said, it's quite obvious you're not going to get stereo output from a single phone speaker. This point is moot; who listens to music using the phone's speaker?

And the 6680 does not have two speakers as far as I know, and definitely does not output at a higher sampling rate (Hz). It outputs at 44.1KHz stereo through the pop port, exactly the same as the 6630.

What would be the point of having two speakers on a phone? There wouldn't be any spacial separation at all. It'd be like having only one speaker anyway. Headphones on the other hand are a different matter.

sorry for my misinterpretation of stereo. i know u dont listen to music via the phone loudspeaker, but i want decent quality music ringtones. my current 3650 has truetones and the ability to have .wav files as ringtones on there, but the quality isnt that special. my sister had a Sony Ericsson P900 and the speaker sound quality was superb, could anybody make a comparison between P900 and 6630 phone speaker quality?

Thanks

i never own p900, so i can't compare,
but compared to 3650, the speaker on 6630 is much better. even when u play mp3 via the speaker, it still sound decent, no cracking at all. it is listenable unlike on 3650.
