I just read that (on allabouter6) the 6630 keypad can go 8-ways.
is this true?has anyone confirmed this whilst playing games?
also on some previous news there were complaints that the 6630 didn't have enough ram.has anything suffered because of this.
also is thera side by side comparision of 6600 vs 6630 hardware anywhere ?

the 6630 does indeed have a eight way navigator...its excellent for playing games...especially metal bluster 2..hehe...
as for hardware between the 6600 and the 6630...heres a few obvious differences.... 6600 has 107mhz processor...6630...220mhz processor....6600 has vga cam (640x480) 6630's 1.23 mega pixel..6630 is 3G/2G/edge phone..it also has an different os (8) 6600's is os 7...6630 has hotswop...so no need to remove battery to change memory cards...the xhtml browser now has support for cookies and javascript...the standard browser is now upgraded to version 2.60..support for the keyboard is included in the sim free package for the 6630...6x smooth zoom, which is excellent on the 6630...light sensor...the real player on the 6630 now supports full screen video...plus alot more enhancements...oh, the phone supports stereo via the supplied earpiece... 😃 awesome phone...
5-way navigator according to Nokia
While the joypad on the 6630 isn't up to N-Gage levels of usability, you can indeed press more than one direction at the same time. I do it regularly while playing games.
It's a bit awkward in the sense that it's all too easy to press the centre key when pressing two directions at the same time, but it does work.
As a side note, if you have vNes installed on your phone, use the default INES demo and see how many keys you can press at the same time. The 6630 registers all the available keys simultaneously.
