How does 6630 stack up against the others (3650, N-Gage, etc.)?

The 6630 looks interesting. However, I'd like to know how it fares against other Nokia phones, esp. the 3650 and the N-Gage.

N-Gage has very LOUD volume for both ringtones and for talking on the phone, which is great, and it has a very convenient D-Pad for playing games.

3650 has much better size, shape and feel than N-Gage, but volume for rings and phone are much lower, and the D-Pad is not good for playing games (esp. when you need DIAGONAL).

What about 6630? Can someone who is familiar with a wide range of Nokia phones fill me in on how well it does compared to these two other phones, or maybe provide me with a weblink to somewhere that gives this sort of info?

Thanks!

I can't give you a direct answer v's N-Gage and 3650 but I don't think you'd have any problems with the 6630. I've had quiet phones before and the 6630 certainly isn't that. It fits nicely in the hand (despite looking ugly in photos it looks good in the flesh). The joypad is the best I've used on a normal phone but I don't know how it compares to the N-Gage.

Hope this helps.

I've used my 3650 for about two years now and got the 6630 a few days ago and personlly I think that the 6630 is one hell of a good upgrade from the 3650.

Let's take the RAM for example, on the 3650 you had like 2-3 MB free after you have started the phone but with the 6630 you have like 8-9 MB free! Also I think that the 3650 had something like 110 mhz and the 6630 something like 220 mhz so you can really feel how much faster the 6630 is (and I'm not just saying that). Then we got the quality of the screen, way much better with 6630's 65k colors against 3650's 4k (or something like that). The storage are also a big upgrade since you get a 64 MB MMC card with the 6630, so that plus the internal 10 MB and you got a total of 76 MB, compare that with 3650's total of ~20 MB (15+4) We also got the 1.3 megapixel camera that takes great pictures (maybe not in dark places, but in the middle of the day = great pics).

I don't really know about the N-Gage, never even hold one so can't give you any advise on that but if you have used the 3650 and thought it was good, then I can guarantee you that the 6630 is a must have if you're thinking of buying a new phone that is similar to the 3650.
