Best Digital Video Camera

Do you want a pocket type one, ie Canon Powershot/Sony Cybershot, or the SLR type (you like the old standard camera body/lens).

If you want the SLR...not sure how much it is in $, though the price here is �600-800....and as you probably know $=� out there. The model is the Canon 800D.

Pocket cams...the Sony Cybershots are rather nifty. Anybody else have any experience here?

If you want a digital VIDEO camera, a Canon Optura or Elura or their MiniDV's line (model MVX###) would be the best option, it also has still pictures capability which uses a MMC/SD, since you're a Nokia User, I would think you would have some spare MMC which you could use on a Canon Digital Video Camera compared with the Sony Handicam which uses Memory stick.

Canon Powershot/Sony Cybershot is only a Digital Camera.

A Canon digital camera is one of the best, they also have an upcoming EOS model which would be even better. But I think Vicky is asking about a Digital Video Camera, which is diferrent from a Digital Camera.
