i found this out by chance... on 6670 :>
to turn on your backlight without pressing the-hard-to-press on/off button or turning keylock off,
u can try this formula.... key in '8', '<any number>', '0'
OR
just press '08' and bingo the light is on without unlocking. and '08' is displayed on your phone.... haha. there's a 'cancel' option too.
wonder what's with this design but any further input from anyone is appreciated.

It works when you enter '112' as well... 112 is an emergency number here in Denmark, so I guess this "feature" is intended for quick access to emergency numbers. Any such number anywhere that starts with '08'?

now i understand... most emergency numbers worldwide are included i suppose
singapore here. can use 999, 995 all works
911 etc all works
can dial and will display attempting to dial emergency number. :>
