Hi,

I am looking for options to install a number of N9500's with the same software image. Our team is getting them soon and we need to make sure that every member will have the same base configuration on it. Any advice on how to do that would be welcome.

Thanks,
Peter

You need to configure one Nokia 9500 to what you want it look like by installing software and changing the settings you want etc. Then use the Backup Feature on the phone to do a Full backup to the MMC. After backing up, remove the MMC and then put it in the other Nokia 9500`s, also using the Backup feature, do a Full Restore. The other 9500`s will look just like the first one.

Take also a look at the Nokia Configuration Tool for the 9500:

"This PC application enables advanced local settings management for selected Nokia devices. The connection to the PC is established via USB. The software utilizes the SyncML Data Synchronization (DS) and Device Management (DM) protocols as defined by OMA (Open Mobile Alliance).

Manage: Internet Access Point (WLAN*, GPRS, (HS)CSD), e-mail, OMA DS/DM settings

Store: Store settings as an editable configuration file on a compatible PC

Clone: Copy OMA DM compliant settings from a pre-configured device into an editable configuration file

Transfer: Copy files from PC to device"
