Sendo are looking for testers for their latest Smartphone & it was suggested to them that the contributors to these forums might make a suitable source, an offer they endorsed, hence the post below:-
Dear All
The HR department at Sendo would like to ask you all if you know any suitable people in the UK who would be available to assist us with a four week project beginning 21st February.
As of next week we will be conducting functionality testing on our latest smart phone. The testing project will be carried over an intense 4 weeks and during this time an amount of temporary labor will be required.
Temp staff should possess a predisposition towards technology, have experience of pc�s and / or mobile phones and display a �can do� attitude. Students or graduates from a technology / science or computer background would be ideal for the assignment.
Applicants with experience of using mobile phone applications and / or foreign languages to include French, German, Dutch and Turkish would be preferred.
Our preferred supplier agency is already undertaking the recruitment and so anybody who feels they may have a suitable candidate should contact HR for further details by Tuesday afternoon at the latest.

I might have *accidently* mentioned that I've previously dealt with a couple of people who work for Sendo...they know who they are 😉

But do you should let test the X2 in Germany.. Many people had problems using it with o2 germany :frown: 🙄
I would do it, but i think Sendo isn't interested 😃
Final choices are being made tomorrow (Tuesday). I can't say who they'll choose as I don't know... however, if I find anything out, I'll let you know (if I can)

Somebody called my name? 😃 Will call Ian around 9 o'clock to offer help in testing the X2 here in Germany (specially on O�) ...
As far as i know, the X2 is Symbian 8 based ? May give a hell of problems with latest third party programs, as the 6630 shows.
