I have made real HARDWARE changes to my Sendo X!

If anyone would like to know, I have relocated my microphone to the front of my Sendo X. I will post pics of soon I hope. Everyone I usually speak with (that pay attention) say I sound like I am next to my phone now. This is a real improvement!

It took me about 2 hours to invent including the design, location, actual grinding & cutting, drilling, soldering, testing, reassembly, and final testing.

This is something that is recommended to all Sendo X but I doubt there are any brave souls out there, ok maybe a couple. It looks and works like a phone now! I was going to try a different mic since the resistance is about 1.28KOhms.... there are plenty of compatible mics that are suitable but Sendo's mic is very tiny.

I have stopped yelling into my phone.

Next step is to eliminate the occasional buzzing sound everyone gets. Time to try some expensive shielding tape!

Im sorry but my sendo x seems to be fine in every department! The mic is fine, everyone says they can hear me really clearly! and i certainly dont get no buzzing noise when im on the phone and i know this for deffo cos i was talking to a friend just the other night for about an hour and a half! admittadly my ear was very warm lol so its probably frazzled my brain but other than that my phone is class!

sorry

No need to be sorry... You can't match the clarity in my Sendo X without the relocation. Also what your friend isn't telling you is that your voice sounds like it is inside a pit/hole - which it is standard on all Sendo Xs.

Now you you can hear the highs/clarity in your voice. This is an fortunate change for sure. Too bad the Sendo X is faulty enough to require consumer alterations to get satisfaction out of their initial [costly] purchase.

I have had NO problems with the audio quality on either of my phones!

Show us pictures to "prove" how you've "improved" on the Sendo mic design - for example, how have you made the new mic position connect to the main cirquit board? If you've moved the mic, this will be a problem!

Dont mean to be rude but how do u know what my friend has and hasnt told me! and who are u to tell me this!

I have actually given my phone to a friend and called it myself and spoke to them and it is fine! sounds to me like im talking to someone on a normal land line! so really i cant see this being a problem in all Sendo X's

Thanks

I don't know but I sure can speculate, can't I? And being that you are bothered by my conclusion/assumption, you make it all more apparent.

All I am saying is that the voice quality is unmatched. It really is that simple. I would say better MUCH than a landline. It really sounds like you are in a microphone in an amateur recording studio but without the recording goodies.

I will be posting pictures up today so stay tuned! 😊

I used EMW mesh and dust filters under the face [shell] of the earpiece and mic for added protection. Then sealed the mic with pliable tacky gum (a never-curing but always-tacky rubbery gum used in direct replacement of thumb tack/pins - great stuff !!!).

It seems that the buzzing has completely eliminated so far.

This is the way it should have been done. If anyone feels the need to get this service done on their phone, I will take full liability to complete your installation, just PM me for details.

p.s. My whispers are crystal clear!

.

very well done IMHO - however, i would think that you must have been sent a dud as all mine are flawless.

the only complaint i have thus far is that the screen brightness seems to vary from phone to phone. also it is not as crisp as i think it should be. other than that, i love them 😃

oh, and a bump for you

brave effort dude....but only ppl who wanna test their phone's limitations would try this...anyway u made it..which makes u the one among the bravest 😊...4 rest of us..happy with wat we hav..

Thank you, I love challenges! 😃

I made jewelry for 7 years and been into electronics since I was 9 years old. I feel like recreating a new Senco X of my own, made of fine silver and cystal. We'll see....

Although this may increase or reduce the reception the Sendo X can't maintain, I might just do it

It will be as thin as the new X2. I have been studying it for quite some time now.

Still waiting on a firmware update too.

The firmware should be along pretty soon - I've been told there's only a couple more things to do on it.

A jewel encrusted Sendo....interesting idea....

These optics are like slate of glass only with more clarity, so the light spectrum maintains integrity flowing in and out of the optics.
