Try again that's trick work !

-Green dial key,
-Star key (*)
-Three key (3)

then press the power on/off to swtich on the 6600 phone.

Do not let go the three keys until you see the "formatting" screen displayed

5. After a few minutes, the format will be complete. Your 6600 will now be at its original factory settings.

I do this trickmany time but nothing changed.

Someone said that this trick can-not change the lock code to default (12345)

Now I've just reload firmware with N-Box, lastest firm ware is 5.07 NHL-2NA.

when I press "*#0000#" the phone return:

V 5.07
30-07-03
NHL-2NA

I don't know why the date not changed :frown:

That's not going to work coz it'll ask you for your LOCK CODE!

I've got the same problem, where the phone asks for the unlock code when I change my SIM. Is there a Nokia service centre in Melbourne where the phone can be unlocked?

Also, is it true that if you enter 5 or more incorrect unlock codes, then no matter if the next code is the correct one, the phone will not allow it?

I eventually paid the extra AU$10 and had the phone flashed to the latest firmware (it was still on the original!)

That got rid of my annoying unknown-lock code and I feel really good now!
