When I first saw this I was very pleased, I thought great, I now do not have to unlock my phone and access the media player to change track or to change the volume. I was very wrong.....

I am a 6630 owner (among others), So when I got the press release e-mailed to me about this new headset I really wanted to find out more, mainly what phones will it support?? So, what are we thinking 6230, 6260, 6630, 9300, 9500 or even 6680/6681 right? Well they all have stereo MP3 players, expandable memory and would greatly benefit from a headset such as this.

But no, the headset is only compatible with the new 6101?? To me this seems so backwards, why launch new phone with a new music service (6680/6681) and a new music headset and not make the two devices compatible??

The thing that really gets me is that the spec for the HS-6 talks about being able to change MP3 tracks etc, the 6101 has just over 3mb of memory and no removable memory!!

I understand that Nokia have more phones yet to release but why get our hopes up with such a great enhancement which is not compatible with its latest handset releases namely the 6630 & 6680/6681!! Think about it, a 1gb rsMMC and a headset like this how really needs an iPod mini?

Come on Nokia, if you really want to take hold of the mobile music world you need to think about the enhancements they are going to release!!

Sit down please... 😃

Went from a GSX-R1000 (did 24K miles in 2 years, Nurburgring and all that😃), via a Husky SM570R to my current R1200GS (clocking up 5K miles since Sept)!

Take it you ride..? What is it?

BTW, way too few gadgets suitable for mounting on bikes... 😞 😉

I've got a CBR600Fx .. don't leave home without it ! 😉

I agree with the lack of gadets .. but least you have some space to bolt them on too !

Coool! I also share a Gilera 180 Runner with my Girlfriend, who's got a ZXR400, and is about to buy a GSX-R600... 😃

Don't know about that Nokia helmet thing - it might work - I'm going to get an Autocom-system at some point. You can plug in MP3 players, phones, radios to that. 😃

i just use the headphones that came with the 9300 underneath my helmet, seems far more simpler than that thing on mobile-fun...and just to let you know i ride a Vespa ET4 - No sniggering please, i know how you big bikers like to look down on us scooter chaps.

OI... I just mentioned above that I ride a Gilera 180 Runner SP... 😃 It's great fun! 😃 😃 Especially the faces of boy racers when they can't keep up from the lights.. 😃

My girlfriend also rides .. and keeps telling me that the CBR is hers !! 😮

So I've got my sights on a Blackbird 😉

There is something fun about playing on little bikes .. still like taking the little CLR125 that I learnt on out for a blast 😃

And my brother in law and I are in the process of re-building an old Honda H100 .. wonder if she will be ready for the Isle of Mann ????

Guys - you've got to check out the new Bluetooth helomets if you want easy phone connectivity - BMW do one and there is one other on the market (but I can't remember who by). I used to use an autocom system for music, and phone (and bike to bike on a trip in NZ!) but the wires were cumbersome..

I say used to as after an R1100GS and a F650sc scarver (shared with my wife!) I am currently bike less (well I don't count mountain biking to work!)

Cheers
