Just got my new nokia 6630 with new software and its worst than before its on orange , the line 2 problem has not been fixed ie if you have line 2 you still cant put a pin code on the phone , as if you do line 2 disappears take it off it reappears , still rebooting, signal is poor dropping calls. wap wont work sometimes. texting reboots phone, my girlfreinds is the same - software version is 345.113 04-01-05 rm1
And another one the menu screen keeps getting stuck between themes. the nokia and the orange theme that is already on the phone. I am getting rid of this phone, fixed not a chance.

I have big problem whit my phone, i got a 6630 two weeks ago an have already format the mmc 3 times,this phone is so unstable,my phone rebooting once a day i dont know where is the problem maybe if i upgrade the firmware could resolve something.....
Its possible that the software damage the hardwere? I put so many thras programs on it....but after the last time i have formated the mmc i put only a few programs and games and still rebooting, any advice..?

what kind of 3rd party programs u installed? is it compatible with n6630? i have no problem at all with my n6630. everything's work great.
Many of the software that i instaled was compatible with n6600, so i supposed that is also compatible with n6630....?i also instaled some ngage games which doesnt work,some picodrive roms,vsun roms....and many of this software doesnt work....maybe is a memory problem beacouse some of the application after closing it did not return the memory....?
Another thing, i have format my mmc and some software that was preinstaled goes too...,where can i find this software...?

Ya, 6630 doesnt work with some of the above applications, I have found a modified version of Picodrive, that works ok. I would be careful installing ngage games as they made my phone run like and old dog and re-boot. I dont really expect too much from these as Picodrive is very old and unsupported... NGage games are cracked and optimised really for a different os and hardware.....
Bottom line is 6600 and 6630 are different; It would be great if the software worked across the two systems, but it doesn't. Try sticking with 6630 approved titles.
Its seems to be on orange these problems, and also you cant leave a video message as you cant press the hash key. Orange say to me that ANOTHER firmware update is on the way. Again

OMG i cant believe all the Orange peeps having problems with the N6630..i am so lucky..havent had any problems...

can someone confirm whether this is a firmware issue or orange branding issue?
