I have a Linksys G rounter and connecting to the internet. I couldn't get my 9500 connected to my rounter. Does anyone has successfully connected your 9500 with Linksys G? Please show me how. I've tried few settings but no success. I may messed up the settings.

Help please

Hiya,

I've set my 9500 successfully to work with 2 different APs, and unsuccessfully with 1 USB dongle...

When troubleshooting start from the lowest common denominator.

- Turn off all security things (WEP, MAC filtering etc)
- Set router to serve DHCP and set client (9500) to retreive DHCP information

Then try to connect
If 9500 says it's connected, try pinging the 9500 from another machine. If that works, it means you have TCP/IP connection with the device.

If you can get a connection without the security, try adding the security things, one by one. 😊

Hope that gives you some direction?

hi,

I've tried few options but none of it works. I'll try your tips...

thx... I'll let you know, hopefully it will work.

Wow... It connected... So must love! 😃

So, what I did was:

1 - Reload my default factory settings from the router
2 - Disable all my security filters
3 - Try to connect my 9500. It connected.
4 - Set up a WEP encryption from the router
5 - Key in WEP key into 9500 and again. it connected.

6 - I'm so happy now!

Thanks!
