can broadband users only access this site??

my mate has a dial-up service and he cannot access this site... is there something i dont know??? im on broadband myself!!!

No, it should work fine. I've had some occasion when the site wasn't able to load. Maybe he had the worst luck?

I sometimes have trouble logging in at University with a T1 or better connection! Must be the server or the traffic! Depends on what time he logs in really!

I never have any trouble, and I'm nearly always on dial up.

I'm with office LAN connection.. sometime it's appear to be slow in getting the content during peak hours... where more than 200 staff using the LAN at the same time. :roll:

I use dial up to this site. I don't have any trouble unless sometime the response time is slow.

I use 512 ADSL from home! There might be a stall of about 2-5 secs but never an error message or something similar! This only happens in peak hours whete the BT Openworld service is shitty anyways! But I like to browse this site off-peak very fast 😃

using 1MB cable connection at home / 128KB ISDN at work, not had any probs accessing the site on either connection.

The ISDN lines are shared between all of our staff, so it behaves like a 28.8 modem when we are all trying to use it 😞 (until I kick them off, lol).

I'm frequently using all sorts of connection to access this site without any problem except during the "peak" hours where it can't help to have problem accessing the site but its just for a short while.
