URGENT !!! *#7370# question

Will formatting the phone erase my contacts list ? Please need urgent reply.
Never used the *#7370# command and I'm a little afraid.

U will lose all user data, formating delate all data in ur phone mem and restor new files from ROM.

U need to make a good backup first..

You can try the command *#7780# which is Normal Reset.....

Normal Reset of Series 60 devices is done using ( *#7780# ), this normal reset restores ini files from rom but preserves user data (photos, 3rd party apps etc).

Deep Reset of Series 60 devices is done using ( *#7370# ), which reformats completely the C: drive and also all applications, files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten

You can use smartvcard from symbianware to backup your contacts and can save it to your memory card then retrieve it later wen u done reseting your phone no need to type again manualy you can also download it here click the link!
