rs dv mmc and new tomtom mobile — Nokia 6630, 6680, 6681 and 6682

hi guys,
theres a company called digiwork.co.uk they r making these rs dv mmc's but i cant find any reatailers selling them yet i was thinking of emailing them. Also good news from tomtom! They r releasing a new version of tomtom mobile its tomtom mobile 5 compatible with so many more fones the list on their website doesnt show 6630 but they r showing a 6630 in pictures on there website surely that must b a good sign! 😃 in the list r 6260, 6670, 7610 and loads more 2! http://www.tomtom.com/products/prod...D=69&Language=1

Hey,

Yeah, this is exciting news from TomTom.

I think the reasoning behind not showing the 6630 as being compatable is because there are no DV RS MMC's big enough yet to take the app.
Once 256mb one's appear I think TomTom will release it for the 6630 as that is the size of card V4 used.

The 6630 isn't in there yet, although it is shown on the product page.

That said we all know it will work on the 6630 and we all know why it isn't specified it can yet, purely cos the MMC manufacturers have not yet pulled their finger out!
