i have office 2003 & windows XP SP2 running on both my laptop & my home computer.
Al my numbers in my 9500's contacts is stored with a + sign leading all my numbers.
when i sync it with my laptop, all the + signs show up correctly. but when i sync it with my home PC all the numbers show correctly but without the + sign.
when i do a complete backup to my PC & then restore it to my phone from the nbf file it comes back correctly, but not through outlook.
has it got to do with some reginal settings ??
can anyone help me with this?
sorry...i just realised that my home PC has office XP (2002) not office 2003. maybe thats the problem....
But still an interesting problem. Keep us informed.
It just cut the + sign, or was it replaced by double zero?
So you use two different versions of outlook, 2002 and 2003?

i use outlook 2002 in my home PC & outlook 2003 in my laptop.
outlook 2003 keeps the + sign but outlook 2002 just cuts the + sign
eg- phone number on my phone +91982******* , in outlook 2003 its stays perfectly like this but in outlook 2002 it stores as 91982*******. which neans if i sync any phone with these numbers, the network will not be able accept any number as the number is INVALID.
me still working on this problem....its must be something to do with the settings...

Hello Hyper. Still having that + problem?
Found this on the Nokia faq page, and immediately thought of you
-----
Plus signs disappear from phone numbers after synchronizing the phone with Microsoft Outlook
Configure your location information in Microsoft Outlook. Go to Contacts folder and select Actions menu -> Call Contact -> New Call... ->Dialing Properties...

I do not quite understand, but you have to do something in Outlook.
Does this help you?
