for the little time i had my phone i noticed that the reports the kept saying pending even after i had sent and received a reply from the person i had sent it 2?

Are you on O2? The delivery report feature is not enabled by default with them. They have been using an outdated SMS backbone for years now.
To enable delivery reports on O2, type *0# at the beginning of each text. You will lose three characters from the total length of the message though.

thats pretty shitty that i have to do that at the start of every text kinda sucks really
So get tough with OSPS and make sure you get a refund then! 😉
i will do i have been in touch with trading standards and they are trying to sort it out for me.
if i can get it sorted out i was just gonna keep my 6600 for a while cos i still have my contract with orange thats why im so eager to get this contract cancelled
