anyone ever tried changing cover of 6260, getting bored of my original color(silver), and also mine already got scratches and some part of it, the color seems to came off. Tried asking nokia to change the cover but they say can only use back the original color. quite dismay, so forgotten to ask the price. has anyone got experience in changing the cover or came across this cover that can be bought off shelve. or the cover changing menu as discuss in the 6600 section

I've seen a few for sale on eBay, was looking into it myself. Ones I saw were around AU$25 if I remember correctly.
It doesn't look like it would be too hard to do, you need a special screwdriver to get the cover off though.
The only concern is warranty. Wouldn't opening up the phone like that void your warranty on it?
I saw it on e bay too, but its only the front face plate and battery cover not the full phone casing. by the way, if you any chance know how the dismantling works, please post here.
This is a bit complicated as it is taking the whole phone apart,
but it does give the general idea.

Have another look, there are many auctions for complete casings for this phone.
