can anyone help im pulling my hair out trying to install tomtom on my mobile

nokia 6600 and tomtom install probs
Don't you just take the mmc out of the tomtom box you bought it in and insert it into your phone? I thought it all ready came installed on the card?
There will be some files in the tomtom directory on the MMC. You need to make sure that these files are not read only, if they are then you need to remove the read only property.
You can do this either two ways, either get a program that is a file explorer for you phone (www.gosymbian.com - File Explorer). Or if you have a mmc card reader you can use that to remove the read only.
Hope this helps

If you copy over everything from the original mmc as it it is, everything should work just fine, mine did, the app appears on the the menu and if you select it, it runs. Exe files do not work on a symbian phone you shouldn't even be worrying about that file.

It needs to be the software on the mmc in the package you bought, it doesn't matter which version as they all work with the provided gps unit, it is just the more recent ones will have more up to date maps.
i have been having the same problem as well.
I copied from cd to formatted, FAT rsmmc and inserted into my N7610. it works up to where i select voice(first installation) and the it shows no map found,.
can u please advice on what to do or do u know anyone who can lend a hand.
I am kinda lost here.
thanx
