Hi,

Wondered if anyone could help with this problem i'm having, seems to be a key mapping problem but can't find a solution.

Problem:

Joystick moved to the right, trys to connect to services
moved to the left, master volume goes down
moved upwards, loads camera
moved downwards, loads the phone dialer

Have tried the master clear and master reset options but this hasn't made a difference.

Hope someone can suggest a fix, driving me insane when playing a game it will turn volume down or try and phone someone.

Thanks

Hi,

I finally got the phone sorted out, had to take it to a repair centre (from motorola website) which spent 2-3 weeks trying to find the problem. In that time they cleared and reflashed new firmware which didn't solve the problem. Near the end they contacted motorola who sent out all new insides for the phone (main boards etc) then reflashed new firmware and it was finally sorted and working again.

The place I took it to was called CRC Nottingham and are listed on the motorola website under service I think, They had never come accross this problem before.

Hope this helps anyone with this kind of problem

Thanks
