Yes it's a pain isn't it. It seems that the word viewer is really only meant to view word email atachments, send yourself a email and you will see it show up in the viewer file list.

However you can fool it by putting the files in a directory called \system\apps\quickword\

This works on either the internal c: drive or the e: memory card, its a bit tricky though as the built in file explorer cant see the system directory, so you need to use something like FE explorer or put the card in a PC.

managed to view the file by creating a dir in e:/ and put all the doc files in

Is there a free software program that can read .doc files instead of quickword. (because i want to view .doc files in other maps.

I have tried to create "system" directory on the memory card but it says "the directory already exists". However, I can not see the directory with this name although hidden directories are selected to be visible. any help...

Open the .doc files on file manager. Works on me...
